Esther Kim is currently an undergraduate student studying environmental engineering. She has been a part of UConn Engineering Ambassador since Fall of 2014. She started as a member of the School of Engineering Tour Guides and then became the Co-Director in Spring of 2015 along with Francis Almonte. In that time SoE Tour Guides became integrated into Engineering Ambassadors, becoming EA Tour Guides. Esther was also involved in establishing and training students for the EA UConn Wastewater treatment plant tour along with Amy Hernandez (President of EA in 2015) and Levi Green. She continued to serve as Director and Open House Coordinator. Esther still stayed involved as the student coordinator of the Northeast Regional Science Bowl, sponsored by Engineering Ambassadors, starting Spring of 2016 until today. Since then, she has been involved through the Engineering Diversity & Outreach Center as a Student Program Assistant. Currently, Esther serves as the Co - Vice President of Branding and Online Presence for EA along with Donna Agogliati. She is responsible for making Engineering Ambassador publicly known through our website and social media. She will be maintaining, updating, and collecting content to grow our online network. Esther plans to make the EA Page more user friendly as well as aesthetically pleasing ;). She also plans to expose all of the amazing progress our Engineering Ambassadors are making. Esther is excited to change the face of EA so everyone can see how incredible our ambassadors are by changing and diversifying the STEM world one step at a time.
