Engineering Ambassadors engage a diverse student population, our university and the greater community in activities that inspire them to explore a variety of creative solutions to the problems facing humanity.

We develop ourselves as passionate engineers of the future with the power to express engineering concepts through fundamentals of science and mathematics.

Calling all creatives! We are seeking artists to help expand cultural and multi-identity representation within engineering. The link to sign up is in our bio! ...

Wrapping up our week of senior leader spotlights, we have Peter Westphal. Peter is an undergraduate majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in German.

Over the past years, Peter has had an immeasurable impact on EA’s outreach, within the walls of our community and beyond it. Peter has been extensively involved in PT, TG and GB during his time at UConn. Also engaging and having leadership roles in some of our favorite events, Science Bowl, STEM Night and Open House.

With prior experience as the Vice President of Public Relations, Peter worked to extend EAs impact through social media. He has also impacted prospective students regularly through tours with TG. Finally within PT, Peter has been a role model member and has been on over 15 PT visits this year alone, mentoring our younger PT members along the way.

Thank you Peter, for all the work and time you have put into EA. It truly won’t be the same without you. Good luck in the future, we are going to miss you. Love you lots, your EA fam. 🧡💙
