Blanche Gorham is currently a sophomore at UConn studying Chemical Engineering. She has been a member of Engineering Ambassadors since Fall 2017. She started off by attending Greater Body meetings and training to become an EA Tour Guide. She took on the position with EA Tour Guide’s Leadership as an Open House Director during her second semester of college. This later led her to the currently position she holds as a Vice President of EA Tour Guides along with Johnny Swanson and Joe Mortimer. Her main responsibilities consist of managing UConn’s daily school of engineering tours, training tour guides and facilitating and planning the School of Engineering’s Open House. Blanche is also a new member of EA’s Presentation Team through which she will travel around to different schools in Connecticut to expose them to and spark their interest in STEM. Her goal as VP of Tour Guides is to improve the quality of this EA Branch by shaping and inspiring a committed group of engineering enthusiasts so that every single family leaves the School of Engineering Tours with a smile 🙂
