I knew that I wanted to pursue engineering from a young age, inspired by engineers within my family. However, I know that many children might not have a concrete example of what engineering is, and might be dissuaded from pursuing a career in it due to a variety of reasons. I joined EA in hope that I would be able to encourage kids toward a future in STEM, regardless of their background or circumstances.

My journey at UConn started by not knowing anybody, but through continuous involvement in everything Engineering Ambassadors had to offer, I’m happy to say that I’ve found a family within it. As President, and especially coming out of the pandemic, I want to ensure that we’re continuing to create the same environment that has helped me grow over the course of my time here, as well as allow the organization as a whole to grow.
